The City Manager is charged with developing a city government that represents the needs of the community and provides quality, cost effective services to the public. Working closly with Department Directors, the City Manager coordinates the provision of services to residents, works to improve intergovernmental relationships, and asserts a leadership role in the community. The City Manager acts as a conduit for individuals to access the City Council.
